Social Opportunities at Redeemer

Book Club

Book Club will be gathering the second Tuesday’s of the month at 2p. We will continue to discuss is "Hope Unseen" by Captain Scotty Smiley. This is the story of the US Army's first blind active-duty officer and also a native of Pasco.   Please join us at the Hoxie's for a great discussion of this book.

If you do not want to read the book but would like to listen and be a part of the discussion, please do not hesitate to join us.   It is a lively discussion and all opinions are appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Kim Hoxie.  Please watch the Sunday bulletin and monthly newsletter for meeting times this summer.  Due to vacations, etc. the group may or may not meet in a given month.  For more information, call the church office.

Men' Club

Despite the rain, and severe Thunderstorms, the Men’s Club Sausage Fest went off without any “major” problems.  Roy deserves the “boy scout” of the year award for keeping the fire going during the downpour.  Thank goodness for his new shed in the backyard which provided the necessary cover during the rain.  Despite the weather, fun and fellowship was enjoyed by all.  The group is taking the summer off and will resume in September.

Senior Club

What is Senior Club?  This group is open to all retired members and friends of the congregation.  We usually meet the first Friday of the month for a potluck lunch, followed by a short Bible Study led by Pastor Todd.

The group finished its 63rd season last month with a great discussion about peace, and will we ever have peace in our world today.  The next Senior Club potluck and study will be Friday, September 9th at 12 Noon.  Please bring a dish to share with others.  As in the past, it would be helpful to our monthly hosts for you to bring your own table service.  If you need further information, please contact Bev Darsow, or the church office.  See you in September!

Pinocle Club

The Pinochle Club meets on Mondays at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. If you enjoy the game or want to learn, come and join the fun and fellowship. Call Terry Strege with any questions or if you need more information.
